Mourners gather in the West Bank village of Yatta for the funeral of a 13-year-old Palestinian girl. The teen was shot dead by an Israeli security guard just a day earlier. Israeli police said it happened after she tried to stab the guard at a settlement in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Hours later, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas came out against Palestinian groups that he said were encouraging young people to resort to violence. Just last week, Israeli authorities said two other stabbings were attempted by Palestinian teens. The stabbings, shootings and car-ramming attacks by Palestinians against Israelis have become an almost daily affair in four months of violence. The bloodshed is fueled by various factors, including frustration over the failed Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. ...
