After losing in New Hampshire, Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie suspends his bid for the White House. Linda So reports.
Chris Christie is calling it quits. After a disappointing sixth place finish in the New Hampshire primary, the New Jersey governor has suspended his bid for the White House. It was pretty clear the end was near as he spoke to supporters Tuesday night. SOUNDBITE: REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE CHRIS CHRISTIE, SAYING: "We're gonna go home to New Jersey tomorrow and we're gonna take a deep breath." Christie poured much of his campaign's resources in New Hampshire. A good showing there was critical. But after his big loss in New Hampshire, he canceled plans to go to South Carolina, a sign his presidential bid was in trouble. Christie's departure narrows the Republican field by one more, with Donald Trump still the frontrunner.
