''Fifty Shades of Grey'' actress Dakota Johnson attends the European premiere of her new comedy ''How to be Single'', while her co-stars say they would be open to making cameos in the sequels of the hit erotic film. John Russell reports.
Actresses Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Leslie Mann and Alison Brie walked the pink carpet at the European premiere of their new romantic comedy, "How to be Single", in London on Tuesday (February 9). Set in New York City, the light-hearted film follows a group of women and men as they try to make sense of modern dating, relationships, partying and their careers. The ensemble cast is led by Johnson, who said it was "incredible" and "special" to work with established comedians like Wilson and Mann. SOUNDBITE Dakota Johnson saying (English): "it's something that drew me to the film in the first place, because these women are pretty extraordinary." In "How to be Single", Johnson's character Alice decides to break-up with her college boyfriend in order to explore single life in the Big Apple. Johnson admitted that she herself wasn't too familiar with the dating scene. The 26-year-old actress is best known for the role in "Fifty Shades of Grey". The 2015 release grossed more than $570 million at the global box office, becoming a huge hit for studio Universal Pictures. The follow-up, "Fifty Shades Darker", is due to open in cinemas in February 2017. Johnson's "How to be Single" co-stars like Wilson even joked about cameos in "Fifty Shades Darker." SOUNDBITE Rebel Wilson saying (English): "Actually she suggested to me that there was a character in the third movie of "Fifty Shades of Grey", I believe she said it was a dominatrix character. She said it was very sexy and that I'd be totally right for it." "How to be Single" opens in the US on February 12 and in the UK on February 19.
