Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson says he does not see a ''political path forward'' in his 2016 bid for the White House, although he has not officially withdrawn. Jillian Kitchener reports.
The end could be in sight for Ben Carson's Republican race. In a written statement Carson says - quote - "I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening's Super Tuesday primary results." Despite a short-lived surge in Iowa, Carson has failed to win a single state. The retired neurosurgeon has also said he would skip the next Republican debate. After his poor showing Tuesday night, Carson said he's become disappointed with the political process: (SOUNDBITE)(English) BEN CARSON, SAYING: "It is rotten. Rotten to the core." If and when his withdrawal becomes official, four candidates will remain vying to be the Republican nominee in the November election... a field now clearly dominated by Donald Trump.
