Police say an investigation has been launched into a letter containing a granular substance that was sent to Donald Trump's son urging an end to the elder's presidential campaign. Jillian Kitchener reports.
Police say the threatening letter in question was addressed to Donald Trump's son, Eric. Authorities are now investigating what they're calling a granular substance found with the letter which was sent to his Manhattan home. The letter reportedly demands that his father end his presidential campaign. An official says the substance inside is not lethal. No suspects have been identified. Thirty-two year-old Eric Trump has frequently appeared next to his father on the campaign trail. And though Trump is leading the Republican race, he's receiving increasing criticism for his often controversial comments.
