Belgium charges three men with terrorist offenses, including suspect who local media said appeared on security footage with two suicide bombers at Brussels airport. Nathan Frandino reports.
Belgian prosecutors have charged a man with terrorist offenses that the media has identified as this man in the light-colored jacket. Prosecutors named the man as Faycal C while the media identified him as Faycal Cheffou. Cheffou is reportedly in security footage with two men believed to be the suicide bombers from Tuesday's airport attack. The city has been on lockdown ever since, with security forces rushing to detain suspects before another attack strikes. A total of 31 people were killed and scores wounded in the attacks, which were claimed by Islamic State. Prosecutors also charged Aboubakara A. and Rabah N. with terrorist activities and membership of a terrorist group. The attacks in Brussels took place four months after IS militants killed 130 people in Paris, sending shockwaves around Europe and across the world.
