U.S. President Barack Obama pays tribute in a solemn ceremony to members of the United States military who died in the line of duty. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday (May 30) paid tribute to fallen service members in a solemn ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. "Here at Arlington, the deafening sounds of combat have given way to the silence of these sacred hills. The chaos and confusion of battle has yielded perfect, precise rows of peace," Obama said. The Americans who rest here and their families, the best of us, those for whom we asked everything, ask of us only one thing in return, that we remember them." About 6,000 people attended the ceremony, a public affairs officer said.
