Roger Clinton, the half brother of former president Bill Clinton and brother-in-law of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, is arrested in southern California on a drunk driving charge. Mana Rabiee reports.
STORY: No arrest for drunk driving can be good, but this arrest comes at an especially bad time. Roger Clinton's sister-in-law, Hillary Clinton, hopes to clinch her party's nomination Tuesday as California holds its presidential primary. The 59-year-old Roger Clinton was pulled over Sunday night by Redondo Beach police after getting calls about a possible drunk driver on Pacific Coast Highway. Clinton was given sobriety tests and was arrested, police say. He was taken to the Redondo Beach jail, where he refused all chemical testing. He was released after posting a $15,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 2. It's not the first time Roger Clinton is in the news. Bill Clinton, on his last day in office, pardoned his brother for a 1980s drug conviction. The Clinton campaign also did not respond to requests for comment.
