Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump slams Hillary Clinton as ''grossly incompetent'' after findings from the FBI's investigation into the former secretary of state's private e-mail were revealed. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump said the FBI's findings on Hillary Clinton's use of her private e-mail server while secretary of state were enough to show Democratic presumptive nominee had lied to the American people. "We now know that she lied to the country when she said she did not send classified information on her server. She lied," Trump told a group of supporters in Raleigh, North Carolina. The FBI recommended on Tuesday that no criminal charges be filed over Hillary Clinton's use of private email servers, but rebuked the Democratic U.S. presidential candidate for "extremely careless" handling of classified information. While FBI Director James Comey's announcement lifted a cloud of uncertainty that had loomed over Clinton's White House campaign, his strong criticism of her judgment has ignited new attacks on her over the email issue by Donald Trump, her likely Republican opponent in the Nov. 8 election. Clinton was joined by U.S. President Barack Obama on the campaign trail in North Carolina for the first time since Obama endorsed her as Democratic nominee. Her campaign said it was "pleased" with the FBI's findings.
