Democratic National Convention Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz appears to compare Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to a dictator. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER) The chair of the Democratic National Convention appeared to liken Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to a dictator on Saturday (July 23). Debbie Wasserman Schultz was speaking at a rally in Miami, Florida before Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and her vice presidential running mate Tim Kaine took the stage for their first official appearance together. "Donald Trump said that, 'I alone can fix America's problems.' Well, there's a word for that in government and it's not democracy." She went onto say, "A few of you in this room are from countries where you know something about dictators who think they can do everything alone."
