STORY: Actress Mary Steenburgen told the Democratic National Convention about one evening she spent with Bill and Hillary Clinton years ago when the two were talking about child care and how she thought the Clintons would make great presidents, but how the idea of a female president at the time seemed like a dream.
"Then, it seemed like too much to dream for. But tonight, it seems very, very possible," Steenburgen said.
Clinton made history on Tuesday when she became the first woman to secure the presidential nomination from a major party.
