Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton says she's ''blessed'' to have a ''crew'' of African American friends and jokes that ''they've tried to expand my musical tastes.'' Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton attended a conference jointly hosted by the National Association for Black Journalists and the National Association for Hispanic Journalists in Washington, D.C. on Thursday where she took an array of questions on race issues. She was asked by one ESPN editor what that most "meaningful conversation" she's had with an African American friend was. Clinton replied saying she's had such a "crew" of friends over the year that she can't think of a single conversation in particular, but that they've challenged her and even "tried to expand my musical tastes."
