The volunteers were making calls on behalf of the Republican gubernatorial candidate looking to replace Pence as Indiana governor. Pence spoke to the volunteers after delivering lunch, promising he would be back in the Hoosier state with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump as they seek to claim the White House.
