ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump met with Shalga Hightower, whose daughter was killed in 2007, during a meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Friday (September 2). Iofemi Hightower and her friends were killed by a group of six men and boys as they listened to music on a school playground in New Jersey, local media said. Some of the defendants reportedly had ties to the MS-13 gang. Shalga Hightower told Trump that it was an "honor" to meet him and that he now had her vote in November's election. "I know my daughter is very honored," she said. "You're the first person to step up and actually give her recognition, and I truly, truly thank you from the bottom of my heart."
