The bodies of nine dead migrants arrive in Sicily aboard a Spanish rescue vessel, bringing this year's total number of known migrant drownings to more than 3700. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.
These are some of the lucky ones. The Italian coast guard releases video of a rescue at sea. Around 2,600 migrants were rescued in 25 operations between Sunday and Monday. A total of 16 bodies were also recovered. On Wednesday, more than 700 migrants aboard a Spanish military ship arrive in Italy. Among the survivors -- bodies of those who didn't make it. The UN says more than 3,740 migrants have drowned on their way to Europe so far this year. That nearly matches the entire death toll from 2015 when three times as many people took to the seas.
