Campaign volunteers say a rock was thrown through the window of a Trump office in Denver while a GOP office in Alamance County, North Carolina was also vandalized. Jillian Kitchener reports.
Along with the posters Americans are used to seeing... a broken window at Donald Trump's field office in Denver. (SOUNDBITE) TRUMP CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEER, SKYLAR KING, SAYING: "He literally walked up, stopped, chucked the rock straight through and took off running." Officials say they are questioning an adult male, who was detained by a security guard. Volunteer Skylar King says he's left wondering how safe they really are. (SOUNDBITE) TRUMP CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEER, SKYLAR KING, SAYING: "This is America. It doesn't matter what candidate it is, it shouldn't come down to vandalizing something." Earlier on Friday, a Republican Party office in North Carolina was also discovered vandalized. (SOUNDBITE) ALAMANCE COUNTY GOP OFFICE, FINANCE CHAIR, STEVE CARTER, SAYING: "I just don't understand the mentality for someone that will do something like that. I mean it's just cruel, hateful. There's no point to it." Less than a month ago, another GOP office in North Carolina was firebombed and littered with graffiti. But that's not stopping Trump campaigners. (SOUNDBITE) ALAMANCE COUNTY GOP CHAIRMAN, BEN YORK, SAYING: "We just keep plugging on and I think that's the best way to combat what someone else has done is to just not let it deter you." With election day approaching, campaigners say it's more important than ever to keep spreading their word... even in the face of vandalism.
