Robbie Williams announces 2017 European stadium tour, says he would join his former Take That bandmates for a reunion ''at some point'' and jokes about his daughter. Jane Witherspoon reports.
The clown prince of pop Robbie Williams is back with a 29 date European Stadium Tour. The star who recently released his new album 'The Heavy Entertainment Show' will be performing across 18 countries starting in the UK next June and yes he's taking the party to Russia. SOUNDBITE: Robbie Williams, Singer, saying (English): "There's you know arenas are a great amount of people and then stadiums are a great amount of people although it's not like an arena is more intimate than a stadium erm I'm just happy there's an audience in front of me to be honest." Next year also marks 25 years since the relase of Take That's debut album and Robbie said he's up for a reunion though it's unlikely to happen anytime soon. SOUNDBITE: Robbie Williams, Singer, saying (English): "Reunion at some point definitely but we just couldn't get our diaries to work together in the next twelve months." Robbie's sold more than 75 million albums and scored 30 UK top 10 hits. The consumate entertainer says it's his kids that keep him amused these days. SOUNDBITE: Robbie Williams, Singer, saying (English): "The other day in the hotel she erm she had an umbrella and she was riding it like a horsey through the hotel and really loudly she went 'look everybody, I'm holding it with my vagina'. I was like 'yeah you are baby, yeah you are.'" Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday.
