At least one person is dead and three others wounded after a shooting near a polling place north of Los Angeles. Police said there was no immediate indication that the shooting was related to Election Day, but authorities locked down the station nonetheless. It happened in Azusa, officials said. Local media say at least one of the victims hit by gunfire was on their the way to vote. The number of suspects is unclear. Police said they responded to reports of gunfire from a house and came under fire themselves. Police said it's possible one of the victims was also a suspect- a woman carrying an assault rifle. Police are also investigating reports of a second suspect, a man. The Los Angeles County Registrar and Recorder's office issued a Tweet urging voters to avoid the area around two polling locations and to cast their ballots at alternate sites.
