He's s surprise pick for the CIA director job. Fifty-two year-old Mike Pompeo is a third-term Republican congressman from Kansas. He sat on several House committees including intelligence, energy and commerce. He also sat on the committee that investigated the deadly 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi. He's echoed Trump's criticism of the Iran nuclear deal, and now says he looks forward to - quote - "rolling back this disastrous deal with the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism." Pompeo is one of three conservative loyalists and Army veterans tapped by Trump for his national security and law enforcement teams. Further cabinet announcements are expected in the next few days.
