Anti-Trump protesters rally outside the U.S. Capitol building days ahead of President-elect Donald Trump being sworn in as the 45th president. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT - NATURAL (NO REPORTER NARRATION) About 40 people gathered outside the U.S. Capitol building to protest against President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday (January 18) night. Many protesters wore robes of the white supremacist Ku Klux Klan group, whose former leader David Duke of Lousiana and whose newspaper The Crusader had endorsed Trump during the Republican's run for U.S. president. Trump, who has never before held public office, will be sworn in as president on the steps of the U.S. Capitol on Friday. Trump has angered many on the left with demeaning comments about women, immigrants and Muslims, a vow to repeal the sweeping healthcare reform law known as "Obamacare" and plans to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
