President Donald Trump boards Marine Force One at Joint Base Andrews on his way back to the White House after speaking with congressional Republicans in Philadelphia. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. President Donald Trump returned to Washington, D.C., on Thursday (January 26) after addressing congressional Republicans during a retreat in Philadelphia. His speech was dominated by the now-scrapped meeting with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto. The two leaders were supposed to meet next week, but after Trump signed an executive order calling for a wall to be built on the southern border of the United States with Mexico footing the bill, Pena Nieto wrote on Twitter that he was pulling out. Trump, meanwhile, is preparing to host Britain's Prime Minster Theresa May on Friday. May also addressed the Republican Party on Thursday, telling the crowd she hopes to renew a special relationship with the United States under Trump's leadership.
