ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. U.S. President Donald Trump visited the Vatican's 500-year-old Sistine Chapel on Wednesday (May 24) after a meeting with Pope Francis. Trump also visited St. Peter's Basilica accompanied by his wife Melania Trump, his daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner. The chapel, completed in the 16th century, sees 20,000 visitors pour through on an ordinary day. Michelangelo's ceiling frescoes include one of the most famous scenes in art - the arm of God reaching out to give life to Adam. After leaving the Vatican, Trump held brief talks with President Sergio Mattarella. Melania Trump visited a Vatican-owned children's hospital while Ivanka Trump met victims of human trafficking and the Sant'Egidio community of activist Catholics.
