NATURAL ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Queen Máxima of the Netherlands met with Vietnamese officials and business partners in Hanoi on Wednesday to discuss access to financial services for Vietnamese people. Queen Maxima, who is also the U.N. Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, held talks with Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang and Governor of State Bank Le Minh Hung on the state of inclusive financing in Vietnam. On the 3-day trip to Vietnam, the Dutch Queen wants to promote financial inclusion which will accelerate progress toward Vietnam's poverty alleviation, job creation, food security and equitable growth. Vietnam is developing a national strategy for inclusive finance to promote adequate, affordable and sustainable access to financial services The strategy's aim is to improve the economic position and of the Vietnamese people and foster development.
