At least one person is dead and several are injured after an explosion at a milling plant is Wisconsin. Nathan Frandino reports.
It took hours for firefighters to contain the blaze at the Didion Milling plant in Cambria, Wisconsin. At least one person was killed and 14 were injured. The fire erupted after an explosion at the corn mill plant rocked the small village at around 11 p.m. Wednesday night. Columbia County Sheriff Dennis Richards says two people are still missing. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DENNIS RICHARDS, COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF, SAYING: "This is very difficult for everybody, including the family that stood for hours waiting for some type of information." Multiple fire departments responded to the emergency, which destroyed the mill's lab, where ethanol is reportedly made. Riley Didion is the mill's president. (SOUNDBITE) (English) RILEY DIDION, DIDION MILLING PRESIDENT, SAYING: "What we ask for is prayer. That's all we know at this point. It's still too early to know the cause." With daylight, officials began their investigation into excatly what caused the explosion and to find those still missing.
