Recording star Kid Rock hinted in his website and social media on Wednesday that he intends to run for the U.S. Senate in 2018. The 46-year-old supporter of Republican President Donald Trump drew attention on his Twitter and Facebook page to a "Kid Rock for U.S. Senate" website. The web pagekidrockforsenate.com highlights the phrase "Are you scared?" Despite the noise, no mention about Rock's political affiliation or even in what state he would run for office. "Stay tuned, I will have a major announcement in the near future", the singer wrote on Twitter. Robert James Ritchie, known as Kid Rock, rose to fame in 1998 with his debut album "Devil Without a Cause" and gained additional celebrity status during his relationship and brief marriage to actress Pamela Anderson in 2006. Whether playing sold out or touring the political circuit, Kid Rock is a name to keep on the radar for 2017.
