ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. British boy band The Vamps released the first half of their double album "Night and Day" on Friday (July 14), telling Reuters making the record was fun and discussing how they feel the definition of pop music has changed. The four-piece who made their name back in 2012 after uploading cover songs on YouTube said 'pop' covers a wider range of musical genres now than it did when they first started out. Speaking about their new album, Simpson explained that the first half ''Night Edition'' which is out now encompasses sounds that are "a bit more sultry", while the second half 'Day Edition' that will be released later in the year, is a bit more ''organic and uplifting." The band just toured Europe with the girl group Little Mix and is currently on a world tour which includes concerts in the U.S, South America New Zealand, Australia, Asia and Japan in September and October.
