In her new book, former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says Donald Trump's physical closeness during one of the debates made her ''skin crawl'' and wonders if she should have called him out as a ''creep.'' Linda So reports.
Hillary Clinton says Donald Trump made her skin crawl when he loomed behind her during the presidential debate in St. Louis. And she wonders if she should have called him out as a creep. In her new book "What Happened," the former Democratic presidential candidate describes her 2016 campaign as joyful but also just plain baffling. Clinton acknowledges she failed her millions of supporters by losing to Trump in the November election. In audio excerpts, Clinton describes the October 9th debate in St. Louis saying that no matter where she walked on the small stage, he followed her closely, staring at her and making faces. She says it made her incredibly uncomfortable, adding it was the second presidential debate where Trump had loomed behind her. Clinton says she chose to keep her cool but questions whether she should've turned around and told him to quote, "back up, you creep." The St. Louis debate came two days after Trump was heard on an audiotape bragging about groping women.
