Japanese women's contraceptive pill struggle

The emergency contraceptive pill, also known as the morning after pill, is difficult to obtain in Japan. It’s expensive and only available with a prescription. Japan is the only G7 nation that prohibits women from obtaining the pills without a prescription. Calls are rising to allow Japanese women easier access. But obstacles against changing the current rules still stand in the way. Mayu Yoshida reports.
