Scientists claim slam-dunk with new sports analysis software

March 19 - It's not being used in this year's "March Madness" U.S. college basketball tournament or the upcoming Olympic Games, but a new tracking software designed to radically improve the analysis of individual performances in basketball games, is close to being ready. The software has been developed by computer scientists in Lausanne who say it will revolutionize sports for both coaches and spectators. Jim Drury reports.
